Subsidy & Net-Metering Support in Darbhanga

Most people give up on solar somewhere between the portal registration and the DISCOM office. That part is our job, not yours.

Overview

Solar subsidy and net-metering support

Two subsidies stack for a Bihar homeowner. The central PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana pays up to ₹78,000, and the Bihar Government adds up to ₹20,000 on top — up to ₹98,000 in all, paid directly into your bank account. It arrives only after a chain of steps that trips up most applicants: national portal registration, vendor selection, DISCOM feasibility approval, installation, inspection, net-meter fitting and the final claim.

Apex Solar Power Solutions is a registered vendor and we run that entire chain from our Darbhanga office. You provide four documents; we do everything else and keep you updated at each stage until the money reaches your account.

Questions

About subsidy & net-metering support

Centrally: ₹30,000 for 1 kW, ₹60,000 for 2 kW and ₹78,000 for 3 kW or larger. The Bihar Government adds a further top-up of up to ₹20,000, taking a 3 kW system to around ₹98,000 in total. We confirm the exact state figure applicable to your connection during the survey. There is a ceiling — a 5 kW system receives the same amount as a 3 kW one.

After installation, DISCOM inspection and net-meter fitting, the subsidy is usually credited to your bank account within thirty to forty-five days. We file the claim and follow it up for you.

Yes — the scheme is reimbursement-based, so you pay the full system cost and the subsidy is credited to your account afterwards. We can also connect you with banks offering solar loans at concessional rates.
