Installation & Commissioning in Darbhanga

Panels are the easy part. What separates a plant that still performs in year twenty from one that fails in year three is the structure, the cabling and the earthing underneath it.

Overview

Solar installation and commissioning

Anybody can bolt panels to a roof. Doing it so the plant survives twenty-five Bihar monsoons and two dozen summers takes hot-dip galvanised structures instead of painted angle iron, UV-rated DC cable in conduit instead of loose wire, proper double earthing, and a lightning arrester that is actually connected to something.

Every Apex Solar installation is commissioned against a written checklist — string voltages, insulation resistance, earth resistance, inverter configuration and generation verified against the design before we hand over. You receive that checklist along with your warranty papers.

What you get

Four things that decide whether this works

Galvanised structure

Hot-dip galvanised mounting engineered for local wind loads, not painted angle iron that rusts by the third monsoon.

Proper DC side

UV-rated cable in conduit, MC4 connectors, correctly rated DCDB and SPDs — the details that prevent rooftop fires.

Tested before handover

String voltage, insulation resistance, earth resistance and generation all measured and recorded.

Trained in-house team

Our own installers, not a subcontracted crew that disappears after the last bolt is tightened.

Questions

About installation & commissioning

Two to four working days for a typical home rooftop system once material reaches the site. Larger commercial plants take one to three weeks depending on size.

No. We use chemical anchors with sealed penetrations, or ballasted structures where the roof cannot be drilled at all. Leak-free fixing is part of the handover checklist.

Our structures are engineered for local wind loads with the panel clamps torqued to specification. Installations we did before the 2020 storms across Darbhanga district came through without damage.

An engineer visits, measures, studies your bills and gives you a written recommendation — system size, generation estimate, payback figure and a full bill of materials.

  • Free, with no obligation to buy
  • Written estimate, not a verbal promise
  • Honest answer if solar is a poor fit for your site
